Helpful hints for building coops

Hi,
Boots, I hope your house sells quickly.
We had a helluva storm today.
We spent over an hour sitting in Walmart's parking lot. It rained too hard to see to drive.. I have never seen it rain that hard for that long in my life.
one report said we got 2.75" per hour.
I think it was more.. I will watch the 10PM news for the official word.
I actually saw a car drive past us without it's headlights on.
Visibility was about 50 yards at times..

When I was a kid and we went to Devils Lake, North Dakota to visit relatives, it was always in August and they would have the wildest storms. As a kid I didn't know any better and would watch them with a mix of excitement and not a little fear. I'm glad I got to see them, but I don't miss them now.

I got the nest box for the rehab coop done.


And I started building a feeder.

I picked up my new string trimmer last night.
have some assembly to do.
No time today, My oldest sister is picking me up at any minute and we are going to a multi-class class reunion. the first four graduating classes from when the high school was built. My 3 sisters were all involved. I am going along just as a guest.
the first graduating class was in 1957 .
I imagine it will be a conglomeration of canes, walkers, and wheelchairs..

this reunion was for 1955 1956 1957 and 1958
I graduated in 1961 from a different high school
I only went to this school for my freshman year.
I had a very good time at this get together. good meal. I even knew a few people..
afterwards my 3 sisters, one bro in law and I went to my youngest sister's house and chewed the fat until 11PM.
tomorrow we are going to bury our recently deceased brothers ashes.

I mounted the nest boxes on the rehab coop today, and cut a hole for the pop door. Moved the rest of the lumber out of the way so I can set up a run.
