now what to do with a perfectly good used toilet?
You replaced the whole toilet?
Was thinking just an add on riser seat.
Donate to a 'habitat' store....or put it non Craigslist?

Village might bring a load of wood chippings and dump it for free.
Guy's coming out later to take a look at where I want them(it's a tight spot).
May have to have them dumped elsewhere(where I don't really want them),
but won't pass them up.

Art, I like the idea of donating to Habitat.
I will check that out.
Yes, I did the whole toilet. bought a 16" tall one for $94.oo complete with seat.
extended seat.
Just a couple of weeks ago we replaced the fill valve on the old toilet.
I hope they can unload the chips in a convenient spot for you. but chips are light so hauling them isn't too bad. You can borrow my tractor and loader if you want.
My chip pile is just about composted to "dirt" status. the pile is over 5 years old.
It had a lot of green leaves and branches in it to help the decomposition.
I am thinking of using it as potting medium.
last night we had a terrific storm blow through. I tossed a plastic lawn chair into the patio door. didn't break the glass.
there was a tornado about 80 miles S W of us. I didn't hear about any others.
there was 1.6" size hail. I don't think we got any hail, though.

He says it can be done. Yayy!!
Tho I hope he doesn't forget, like he forgot about our appointment this morning.
Honest mistake, and he came right over when I called to check.
Fingers crossed, time will tell.

We've been busy the last week or so, the shed was finally delivered and built but with a couple of design issues. Tuff Shed is sending out a crew on Thursday and Friday to fix things. But the shed is usable and we've started moving things to it including the car at night.

Area around the shed is graded now and the guy doing the grading dropped off about 2 cubic yards of pretty fresh horse manure mixed with wood shavings so I've got a heck of a kickstarter for my compost bins. Got to get back out before the dogs discover the joy of rolling in it.

Oh, and that huge bass? I caught her again a few days ago, we've named he "Moose".
