Aart, happy? yes. but oh so stressful.
for lent , for penance, I vow to watch the Packers play..
If the Lions would not have slacked off, they would have easily beat the Pack..
weather is going to take a U turn here today.
I cancelled my ride to the VA for labs.
getting there might have been iffy, but getting back home , near impossible.
I think I will stay in my PJ's until bedtime. then I won't have to change clothes . LOL

I didn't really pay much attention to the whole game ...background noise...but when the Lions scored so quick, I figured yeah that's not gonna last, typical.

I did the PJs all day yesterday. It was raining anyway. I have 18 out of 20 squares made for the Harry Potter quilt.

well, it took awhile to get wound up, but the snow finally settled in. we were getting an inch per hour at one stretch. by 5pm we had over 5 inches. it is supposed to continue until about midnight. the bulk of the storm just grazed us. more snow to the south..
Heading straight for you, Aart..
made saurkraut and ham with the left over ham. I took some pork roast and pulled it and added Baby Ray's bbq sauce to it..
mashed some potatoes , topped with ranch dressing.. and whole kernel corn.
Brought in a bucket of open end box wrenches and sorted them..
I am not going to plow this snow. Bob can do it this time with his 4wd pu truck.
after he is done, I will push the snow banks back with Ollie.

Yep it's big one....hit here about 5-6pm, not sure what it will leave by 7pm tomorrow, estimates are 3-6".

we were promised 4" to 8".. you can easily believe the lower number.. They just don't know exactly how much over that it will snow..
I is wet and sticky snow. Annie said, look, even the dead pine tree is pretty..
there will be plenty of fallen branches from this one..

we ended up with about 8" of the slippery white stuff.
Not going out, no reason to.
Bob is going to plow us when he gets a round tuit..

Not gonna be fun to clear that.

So they got it pretty right.
Supposed to go house sit today, wondering if van can make it in and out of both driveways without clearing first.

I love having 4WD , just in case. So far no need for it this season. We will be in the mid 50s today, supposedly. I have some plants in pots I would like to put in, and I need to build a base for my dry sink before I put the weight of the fish tank on it. It will be over 300 pounds!
