it seems that if you want to take a picture of a specific chicken, that will be the one who won't stand still.
I was an aching unit last night. too many trips up and down the ladder. a couple of aleves right at bedtime and this morning I feel pretty fine.
39F. I went out to check the tomato plants. they are covered with dew, no frost..
so now I will just sit here and enjoy my cuppa and wait for the rest of the world to wake up.

My computer says you are up at 4 am and that is officially too dang early Jim. DP and I worked on a rabbit tractor yesterday, In spite of the fact that the measurements in the plan were wrong, it's nearly finished. We still have to make the lid but we got a lot of it done.

We are hoping it doesn't get crazy heavy once the lid is on. It's a frame of 2x2s with light weight corrugated panel on top.

nice job, Boots .
It shouldn't be bad to move if you move it sideways.. one end first, then the other end.
when I was dragging my 7 foot x 14 foot dog kennel/chicken tractor, it didn't matter which way I went because I used the tractor.
what was neat was wherever I had it set, the grass came back as red and white clover. I liked that..
today I picked up the lumber for the five front panels for the green house.. 20ea 1x3x8'
pine.

Nope, she's got the frizzle gene.

Today I put a window in the Turkey Coop today on the side that was open . Then tonight I cut the plywood to cover the open spaces, and painted one side. One or 2 windows, well maybe 3 , left to put in. And a door to make.
