Today is the 44th Anniversary of our wedding! I am going to a flea market in Roanoke and getting an ice cream cake. Hubby didn't feel like going to the flea market, so i am going unsupervised. He will be sorry!

Happy anniversary Cappy and Hubby
Not a lot of people reach that many years lately.
I think it is only fitting that you reward yourself with at least a nice gift from the flea mkt. get something for hubby, too.
It is chilly here today. but I am going to see what I can accomplish outside anyway.
have to remove some flower shoots from the rhubarb. will check the garlic for scapes.

Thank you, i did find some paint brushes to use on some ceramics and some rubber stamps. I got hubby an ice cream cake on the way home. He loves those!

Cappy, do you make those ceramics at home ? I never had the pleasure of doing ceramics. The closest thing i did was in high school I poured molten aluminum into a sand mold.
I had no ambition yesterday. I did manage to cut the lower branches off of the plum tree. Now I can ride the mower under it.
Annie picked four flowers off of the rhubarb. Kind of early for that, don't you think ?
One of the black walnut trees in the yard looks like it is over half dead. I was going to remove two dead branches, but now I am going to wait and see how dead the tree looks after it gets leaves. might just cut it down. we will see.
the elderberries I have in dirt in the mini green house are loaded with leaves.
I didn't check the apples and plums. will do that today.

Yes, i go to ceramic classes so my pieces get fired. But i also work on them at home. It is quite enjoyable.

Today we went and picked up 23 bales of hay. Hubby put it up in the loft. Had a couple naps later in the day, now wide awake.

aaaahh, nothing like being wide awake at midnight. My time us usually at 3 AM..
I try to fight naps, but when the time is right, why fight it?
going to have labs today. annual dr appt on Wed.
going to pick enough asparagus to make a pie. I haven't told Annie she is making a pie, yet. lol
