I know it's been this cold at some point in the 16 years we've lived here -- I've even seen 0F a few times. But never in December and not for enough years that I can't remember when it last occurred.

I'm getting ready to go to work and trying to figure out what I have in the way of coats. I don't own anything I'd have recognized as an actual winter coat when I lived up north.

I ended up with my thickest sweatshirt-jacket and a ruana over that. Good enough for in the car and between the car and the building.

I keep a blanket in each vehicle in case of emergency.

Had a migraine this afternoon, so i slept and laid around today.
Looking forward to having things thaw soon. Even the frost free hydrant froze!
