Being lazy... googling "moon rocks" give many disparate answers.

What are moon rocks? Besides a song by Talking Heads, or a cannabis buds, or candy...?
I am not a rock hound. but, according to my friend
from Minn. they are rocks formed millions of years
ago by volcanic action. there are very few locations
in the world where they can be found. on the intersection
of the two county roads is one of the sites.
I guess it is some sort of white stone..

Yesterday afternoon we did some repairs on Camp Cockerel, last night I put 8 12-week-olds in there -- separating out the crossbreeds for sale. I put them up on Craigslist at about 10am and they were on their way to new homes by 2pm.
That was quick
Did they know they were cockerels?

Yes, when I responded to the Craigslist email I detailed it out in males and females (3 females, 5 males).

The guy said they had a rooster who was mean and I told him that while there were no guarantees with roosters, I hadn't had any issues with my Australorp and Australorp cross boys and that I could turn my back on their father without fear.

I got the impression that he'd like to replace the existing male and that he wouldn't be afraid to eat the ones who didn't work out.

Cappy, I spent a lifetime picking rocks and hauling them away.
You are doing just the opposite . :lau
Sounds like an interesting rock, though.
Are you sure hubby didn't paint it and set
it there ?
I am very sure! Plan to get out the rock chisel and split the bigger one so i can bring that home too.
