Cappy, good job. I hope Mel appreciates all
you do for him.
today I got a little tractor time. good therapy
for the winter blues.
ice, ice, ice everywhere. I spent half of my
time getting unstuck. Not much traction in
reverse with the tractor tires, so I push with
the bucket to get started.

Hey Jim, thanks! Mel hasn't seen his new place yet. But i doubt he will like it since he will be alone in there unless i put the young males in there too. Mel is nervous of me since i give him shots, and deworming. Next on our list is trimming feet.

still snowing lightly. i don't know if I will have
to plow. I will wait until noon and then check.
will the young goats get along with Mel ?

eta
we ended up with just about an inch and a half
of new snow. i am not going to plow.
the snow will make a good cover for
the ice.

When I lived up north I always said I'd rather have a foot of snow than an inch of ice.

Where I live now an ice storm is more common than a snow storm.

I don't want the young goats in with Mel. Breeding males smell awful, and i don't want his daughters in with him.
