I am just getting started, I have a logosol chainsaw mill and logs that I would like to use for a post and beam type coop and run. I am thinking simple but strong and secure. So many designs out there. Thanks for all the tips and info! This site and members are awesome!
Let us know how you do with that!

Scotty, how big of a log will your rig saw ?
The one I watched on youtube was 20 inches..
They rolled the log up on a ramp by hand
and cant hooks. tough way to do it. easier
to use a rope..
once you retire, you won't have enough
time in a day to get much done..it happens..
Cappy, hard to trim feet with bags on them..

I bought the Logosol F2 Plus and use a Stihl MS660 chainsaw with a 25" bar that can mill up about a 24" log. I also bought 2 extensions that will allow me to mill up to 18 ' logs. I just got it in the fall so I need more time to play but am pretty impressed so far, it's certainly not as good as a bandsaw mill but will work for my needs. I have a Kubota B2601 tractor and a grapple (and forks) so lifting and moving logs around is easy.
