It says 1/2x48x100 plus the part that threw me was its coated

It didn't see that...am I blind?
That's a good price.......especially for coated.

Lovely warm weather.

And a 4-5 food blacksnake trying to climb the back wall of the coop. I found it before it found the open door and moved it as deep into the woods as I can and still be on my own property.

Lost another chick some time last night maybe I'm not meant to raise chickens. I was wanting more but decided against it as I dont wanna keep killing the poor things, just breaks my heart. So thats 2 now thats died and I thought they had turned around although the one orpington still kept sitting down alot but he would still get up and eat and drink. On a plus note I got the new brooder setup just waiting on the hemp bedding.

also I pulled the trigger on the wire hope they make it that far.

How old is the feed? My local big box feed store is selling feed made in June of 22.
After grain is cracked, it starts to lose nutrients after 6 wks.

Great thinking, Would have never thought of that. The best by date is 11/23/23 cant really read the made date looks like the end of nov 2022. Should I try to find newer food?

They seem soo happy in there new home running around flapping their lil wings and playing on the roost. Had to put zip the lid up cause the same one that figured out he can jump on the brooder the on to the house I made them jumped on to the top of the roost and probably would have been able to jump out eventually. But it makes me so happy to see them enjoying themselves. I wish I would had started them in this but didn't have the room at the time. If you have chicks I highly recommend this pen. So much room and takes up almost no space when you fold it up into is carry bag. Plus the top is mesh so you can watch and it ventilated plus mesh vents on every side and its really cheap

some of the granual feeds has grit in them.
dissolve a small handful in water and see if you can feel any.
it is about the size of salt..
