Just checking in.
Too hot to do much outdoors. I go out early and
quit when it gets too hot.
we still have a lot of smoke from Canada.
I wonder how long that fire will burn ?
Cappy, did that plane crash anywhere close to you ?
BillBo, it is nice of your kids to donate their play house to you.

I still have a little more work to do on the coop, going to add stairs for easier access to the top portion and add more hardware cloth over the top of run. Also need to add shutters to the windows.
Chickens spent their first night in the upper part last night.

I didn't hear about a plane crash, since i don't watch much news. Where was it?

In the VA mountains. Very sad.

the plane was flying over restricted air space near DC.
the govt. scrambled six jets to check it out.
apparently the pilot was slumped over and unresponsive.
finally the plane crashed into W Va mountain.
four people killed.

We went through the Canadian wildfires here in South Dakota a month ago. But since we live in flyover country it never makes the national news. It does tend to piss me off.

I imagine you get smoke from Canadian wildfires more often than I do. I got the western Canada smoke a month ago too.
Be glad the national news ignores you. Once you're on the radar city idiots show up trying to change things.
