Oh, and tires on vehicles spread loads of microparticles. My husband is tired of the subject. I think we need to demand less plastic and more glass!

Used to be glass pop bottles returned to the store. They say it's much cheaper, for the company, to do plastic than gathering, cleaning and reusing glass.

I'm 82. shooting for 1oo. plastic ? you gotta die from something.
what kills me is that so many foods are wrapped in plastic, and then they want us to use a paper bag to carry it home in.
another thing. if I buy a pair of scissors, it is wrapped so tightly in tough plastic that you cannot get it out without using scissors. wait !! the scissors I need are wrapped in plastic .. lol

had a good week last week.
bro Dave came and replaced the electric wall heater in the bathroom
bro in law Dave came and replaced the wall thermostat for the heat in the rest of the living area.
I might have to replace an electric baseboard heater. it is 5o yrs old. they wear out after awhile.
I have spares in the garage. it takes but only a few minutes.
it is 3F this morning. in about a week the mean temperature should begin to climb.
thinking of making a kettle of chili.
