We were going to go out to eat Tuesday night, but snow expected. Ugh

snow here Fri night Sat morning. 10".
we did not go to a birthday party on Sat. didn't trust the roads to be plowed. the neighbor plowed our driveway before noon. they are so good about doing that. we have a large parking area near the house and a 300 ft driveway. no charge. we have been neighbors for 59 years.
cold yet. 9 below zero this morning.
yesterday I made sloppy joe's and ho made buns.
I learned that 8 buns from a 2cups of flour batch of dough is too few. next time I will make 10 buns and see how that goes.

snow is beneficial. it puts a lot of moisture into the ground.
