we had a good hard frost. that means there will be no more mosquitoes this year. on the down side, it is too cold to sit outside and enjoy their absence . lol
i have a nice cover crop of oats in the corn patch
debating if i should knock them down before the snow flies, or just leave them until spring.
i finally got another light installed upstairs in the garage. Annie is sorting through all the junk piled up there. lots of our children's belongings. we have stored the stuff long enough. now it belongs to us.
I inherited my parents house and my brother had stuff from 1970 college still there. Blank Reel to reel tapes for example. I asked him if he wanted it...he said just keep it, after a few years of asking I gave the tapes to the theater at work because they still used it. The paperwork I got rid of. It's been 15 years and he hasn't asked about it 😂

after 60 years here on the "farm" , we are thinking of selling and moving to town. thinking we will have an auction. sooo much stuff to get rid of. wouldn't mind just selling the place with all the stuff included.
it is 31F today , no snow yet.
have to tinker with the tractor battery. too cold for that. waiting for a warmish sunny day.

Sorry to hear your thinking about moving.
I have to admit there's days it occurred to me too. Someday I will have to, I only have 3 steps to get in the house, but eventually that might be too much.
