5F this morning. anything above zero feels like summer. lol
i walked to the garage to feed the cat yesterday.
snow was too deep to get to the door. i set the dish on the snow bank. i hope he found it.
i have a few things i could do. but can't work up the ambition to do them.
today is ground hog day. i don't think our resident ground hog is going to wake up quite yet.
that's good. because he won't see his shadow and winter will end sooner.

Woodstock Willy didn't see his shadow in Illinois. So we get early spring 🌱
The east cost Phil seen his shadow 😨 so they get 6 more weeks of winter ❄️

glad you got moved ok. we have baseboard heat.
quiet and clean.
it is above zero this morning. first time in about 3 weeks.
5F right now. shooting for 22 later on.
all we are doing is staying inside and cooking and eating.
not good for the weight.
Well, at least you won't starve!
We had baseboard heat, a fireplace, and real wood floors where I grew up

no Cappy. no fear of starving with Annie around
she still feels that she has to cook as if all the kids were still living with us.
it is gradually warming up. 14f at 11am
supposed to get above freezing sometime this week
then all of snow on the driveway can turn to slush
then it will freeze again and there will be hard ruts
our resident ground hog didn't wake up at all,
as a result he didn't see his shadow. does that count ?
