My wife and I started a flock a few months ago and have finally started to get some eggs. I am a graduate student so my life if full of excel spreadsheets and statistics so I whipped up a really simple productivity spreadsheet for tracking how many eggs our ladies produce for us. I've included a line for each hen as well as the formulas in excel for summing your egg totals per day and per week. I was unable to just attach the excel sheet so instead I have a step-by-step how to: I think it will be a fun way to keep track of their productivity during different times of the year and really see how much they provide for us over their lifetime! If you have questions about adding more lines let me know. Hope people enjoy this, feel free to share with anyone who wants to keep track of their egg production!

Unfortunately I was unable to attach the spreadsheet. So here is the way to set up the spreadsheet. I also was unable to get the boxes around the cells to show up. But once you get things going in Microsoft excel it should make more sense.
STEP 1:
-Under the "HEN" Column, add the names of your hens.
-After the last hen add a cell "Daily Total".
-In the 7 cells to the right of "HEN" add the appropriate dates for the week and after the 7th day of the week at "WEEKLY TOTAL"
HEN 4/28 4/29 4/30 5/1 5/2 5/3 5/4 WEEKLY TOTAL
Sunflower
Big Mamma

Miley
Peaches
Rumple
Buttercup
Daily Total

STEP 2:
-In the cell immediately under the "WEEKLY TOTAL" cell type: =SUM() and then click your cursor in between the parentheses.
-Then highlight all seven cells on Sunflower's row and hit "ENTER"
-Type in a few number in the cells to make sure your formula is summing the numbers correctly.
-If the formula works, then click on the cell underneath the Weekly Total cell and place your cursor in the bottom right hand corner of that cell. A black plus (+) should show up. Then Drag your cursor down to the cell ABOVE the "Daily total" row and it should fill in the formula for those cells. Again test the formula by adding some numbers to the cells.

HEN 4/28 4/29 4/30 5/1 5/2 5/3 5/4 WEEKLY TOTAL
Sunflower =SUM()
Big Mamma
Miley
Peaches
Rumple
Buttercup
Daily Total

STEP 3:
-In the cell immediately to the right of the "Daily Total" cell type: =SUM() and then click your cursor in between the parentheses.
-Then highlight all the cells underneath "4/28" row and hit "ENTER"
-Type in a few number in the cells to make sure your formula is summing the numbers correctly.
-If the formula works, then click on the cell to the right of the "Daily Total"cell and place your cursor in the bottom right hand corner of that cell. A black plus (+) should show up. Then Drag your cursor across the cells to the right, including the cell at the bottom of the "Weekly Total" row and it should fill in the formula for those cells. Again test the formula by adding some numbers to the cells.
HEN 4/28 4/29 4/30 5/1 5/2 5/3 5/4 WEEKLY TOTAL
Sunflower 1 1 0 1 1 0 0 4
Big Mamma
0
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Miley 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Peaches 1 1 1 0 1 0 1 5
Rumple 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Buttercup 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Daily Total =SUM()

STEP 4:
-
Enter in the number of eggs each hens lays each day.
-Any time you change one of the number in black, it will automatically adjust for that Day's "Daily Total" as well as "Weekly Total" for each hen and consequently your all hen weekly egg total (bold, red number 9).
-Again test that the formulas work and adjust appropriately.
-Once you have the sheet set up it will be easy to copy and paste the entire thing for new weeks!

HEN 4/28 4/29 4/30 5/1 5/2 5/3 5/4 WEEKLY TOTAL
Sunflower 1 1 0 1 1 0 0 4
Big Mamma
0
0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Miley 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Peaches 1 1 1 0 1 0 1 5
Rumple 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Buttercup 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Daily Total 2 2 1 1 2 0 1
9

I hope people find this useful. You could even add a graph once you have some data going if you want to get really fancy!

Nice but how do you know which hen lays egg? Are they all separated (each in 1 cage)?

We have 4 different breeds and luckily they have different colors. The spreadsheet will still work for egg totals, I just plan on trying to figure out who laid the best we can and trying to keep track that way.
