Helping broody hen

So I posted about my female royal palm going broody 2 days ago. Yesterday she did not get up at all. I put food and water next to her and she drank all the water. Should I try to encourage her to get up at least once a day or just keep putting food and water next to her?

Also am worried about where she hid the nest. In between my house and the ac unit. There is literally enough space for her to be in. On one side is a 6ft. Drop and the other is fine. Worried about the drop when babies hatch. And also she does get rained on a little and cant really put anything over the space. Could I be able to move her and the nest? Or will she be okay there?

I would not put food near the nest as it can attract unwanted visitors. If a normal turkey hen, she will get off the nest once daily to feed, water and drop her "broody poop".

My turkeys regularly brood on nests where they are exposed to the weather and some even in places where they get sprinkled on for 24 hours at a time due to my watering system set up to keep the plant life growing.

If you want to move her to a more protected area such as a predator proof pen, you can try. She will be more likely to accept the move if it is to a place where she is alone, big enough for her to comfortably move around and small enough that she cannot get very far from the eggs.

Okay I will take the food and water away. And possibly keep her there. Was just worried about her getting sick from all the rain. She picked the most secluded spot thats the safest that most of my birds dont go to unless we go there and they follow. The only other spot would be in my garage

Just because you don't see her get off the nest, does not mean she doesn't get off. You could put up a camera to monitor and make sure that she does get off of the nest.
