Helpppp!!!chicken aspirated/ now has a story of licorice'sdeath

and the saddest part is that we were getting ready to do a tube feeding demonstration for our state poultry association but thanks for understanding most would say its just a chicken

Oh honey I'm so sorry that Licorice passed away. You loved her very much and took excellent care of her and she loved you too. I know she felt safe and warm in your arms when she passed and wasn't afraid. Remember that you didn't do anything wrong, it was her time to go and nothing could change that.

I'll keep both of you in my prayers tonight. Take care of yourself and we're here for you. We've all lost pets we loved dearly and we feel your sorrow also.

I have one like that now. I feel terrible.. I found him the other day just laying on his side. I started to cry and I held him close. he was limp and almost lifeless. He gave me one responce....He just kind of staired at me and blank

... I told him he could go...I understood I am trying my best. He seems to be getting better. But time will tell... He has always had problems and I am surprised he has lived this long. But I havnt gived up yet

I am soooo sorry I know how it feels to lose a pet. Even if its just a chicken

They are more then chickens to us

It will be a while. But it will get better and the pain will resead. Keep your head up high and know you did your best. She knew you loved her.

I've lost three so far and I know how much it hurts. Most may say she was just a chicken, but we all know that's just ignorance talking. They obviously don't realize that chickens are every bit as valuable a pet as a cat or dog. They give us affection, are a joy to interact with....and give us eggs! Heck others may say they are more valuable than traditional pets. I hope you won't get discouraged with keeping chickens. Get another soon. Hang in there. i just posted on ur other post and just now saw this didn't know u had 2 posts. i'm so very sorry u lost licorice.

i know how bad it hurts my chickens r like my adopted kid's and to us they r more than just chickens they r all members of our family. i still loose one once in awhile and i cry every time and so do the kids. u r in our hearts and prayers and i'm so very proud of u for ur love and compassion for ur baby. u did a wonderful job loveing and careing for her and yes she did know how much u loved and cared for her.
