hemp for chickens?

I get it at nuts.com but it's still pricey 74.75 for 25lbs but they do offer bulk discounts or lower prices on smaller bags and they aren't sterile so you could theoretically grow your own if you wanted and it's allowed where you are.

I know this thread is a few months old but I've been looking to add hemp seed to my feed and I'm having trouble finding affordable prices. The cheapest I've found is 25 lbs for $75. Those of you that are feeding hemp, where are you getting it and how much do you pay?

My guy is a hemp farmer / processor, but hasn't returned my email - I haven't been in touch with him in about 4 months. I gathered he didn't want to make a habit of shipping small portions for feed. I got 50 lbs from him and I still have some left. He charged me a flat $50 for the first shipment, but that was just a trial type arrangement. When he gets back to me I will ask him if he wants to sell to more customers for this purpose, but I have a hunch he doesn't.

I realize that's not helpful, so I will show you where I found him. He was only the third or fourth person I tried from this list, so maybe someone else will have some luck and can report back here.

Hemp is an industrial product! I will not be feeding it to my brood.

Hemp is called industrial because it is not THC based and was blacklisted by William Randolph Hurst and the Zionists in the 1930's because it actually has 200k+ uses better than fossil fuels, health and healing products, materials and many more items that do cause cancer (like those poor Texan Cotton Farmers). Industrial Hemp is called that because it does not contain THC (that gets you high). So you are telling me that I as a combat USMC Veteran from Desert Storm should be taking big pharma drugs that do not help, but not CBD Based HEMP because it is called INDUSTRIAL is poison. Tell that to the 100k+ that have died in the US to opioids since the Afghan War since 2002. You may want to do your research because Hemp is considered if you are religious GODS Herb, if you are not it is called Earths Herb...
