Hen’s tail down, sitting often. Help!!

I did apply invermectin to her feathers on her back earlier this summer. I looked and didn’t notice any mites or parasites. Her vent appeared to be opening and closing but was clean.
Ivermectin isn't very good to use to treat worms.
Lice yes but not worms.

A couple more questions.

Have you brought any new birds home recently?

What do you feed your flock?

We feed Natures Best Organic layer pellets. We did add a hen to our flock earlier this summer but I kept her isolated at first until I was sure she was healthy. Everyone else in my flock seems to be healthy and thriving.

Can you cage her by herself so you will know for sure if she is eating and laying or not?

Does her belly area feel full, soft or squishy?
Her crop does feel a bit squishy. I know for a fact she’s eating and drinking. I will have to separate her so I can be sure she’s still laying.

Her lower belly area.
Between her legs.

She appears to be healthy and alert....she has an appetite and I watch her make her way to food and water each day. She will lay down by the water/food and eat/drink while sitting.

She’s constantly sitting and her tail is down. I gave her a nice bath yesterday and checked her vent. She doesn’t appear to be egg bound. She seems to have lost a little weight, but not so much...she isn’t too thin. She will walk a few feet, and then her tail goes down and she lays down. Please check out the video I posted to see what she’s been doing. In the video I threw some scratch to them...as you can see she made her way over to eat...but doesn’t remain standing for long. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is probably obvious, but have you looked at her legs and feet? Maybe an injury of some sort? (I'm thinking splinter, infection, bruise, bumblefoot, bee sting, blisters, swelling--anything that would make standing and walking painful.)

Definitely no bumblefoot or anything obvious....let me look again more thoroughly but I don’t think so.
