No. The last time we added new birds was back in December. I had fed them laying pellets but learned that the extra calcium could cause problems for our roo. I asked the local feed mill what they would recommend. I was told that since my chickens free range and get bugs and weeds from our garden that scratch feed and oyster shells on the side would be good for them. So I have started giving scratch feed. We are currently having a bit of a cold outbreak in our flock and have the sneezey ones quarantined. But she might have been exposed. I have not dewormed them yet. I don't know when or how to do it correctly. I'd been researching and getting ready to deform them when I noticed one of my chickens had sniffles. It's not gone to three with sniffles and a cough with no drainage but other than that, they show no other signs of illness. I've quarantined them but I am afraid to worm them when they are still sick.Have you brought any new to you birds home in the last month or two?
What exactly do you feed your flock?
Have you ever dewormed them?
