I’m not sure. I’m not familiar with the standards over there. I believe Australian Araucanas have crests and beards. Though according to that link I posted Araucanas jn Australia are the same as EEs here - which aligns with what @Poultry mum was saying.

These are my 2 Araucanas they have the muffs and beards but they aren’t pure but a good example of what some (most) of our EEs look like....

do Araucanas also lay blue eggs in Australia?

My girls are meant to lay blue eggs yes... although they started laying as yet... I get a lot of young or POL pullets so they all around the same age... next season should be good...

My girls don’t look like that.. mine are smaller and more “hawk” like with the straight up tail and the slick feathers small amounts of muff and beards

My guess is that they’re Easter eggers. Maybe they were mislabeled as araucanas.
