They are the bantam type... but mine are also cross spangled Hamburg

I’m confused. Are they supposed to be Easter eggers, araucanas, or a cross involving araucana and hamburg?

Araucana is an EE... my girls are araucana x spangled Hamburg... I have a 50/50 chance that one or both will lay either blue, green, or white eggs... lol

Araucana is an EE... my girls are araucana x spangled Hamburg... I have a 50/50 chance that one or both will lay either blue, green, or white eggs... lol

Araucanas aren’t EEs, though. If they are the first generation cross of a purebred araucana x Hamburg, then they should lay blue.

YAY!! and they are EEs... I’ve done a lot of research on these and everything I’ve looked up says there eggs are blue which makes them an EE

Well, since they’re mixes of a blue egg laying breed, then they are EEs. Purebred araucanas and EEs aren’t the same thing, but araucana mixes are EEs.
