You are good then, there is only a noise rule related to roosters.Poultry may therefore be kept provided they are managed so as not to cause an odour nuisance to neighbouring properties and no run off from the pen area occurs. Roosters are not permitted in a suburban area as they will cause a noise nuisance
If yours is like Echo was there isn't any specific time when the crowing will happen. I don't recall Echo ever crowing to announce the sun. And she didn't crow all that often, maybe a few times a week. And it lasted maybe 6 months then she decided to quit for some reason.
We have a neighbor about 450' away with a rooster, doesn't bother us at all but her roosters taught me that they don't crow just at sunrise but all throughout the day at random times. I'd rather hear that than the neighbor's dog the other direction. Bark, bark, bark for quite a time and often during the day.
