Yeh that makes sense. The only container old enoigh has been sealed tho. Will have to try snd compost it further.

just sealed from the chickens. I put some field fencing over it and stop adding food scraps to it. A bonus of putting scraps in an in-run compost pile is the girls can eat what they want and the stuff they ignore spent rot in the yard.
