Hen feels very light and lost comb color

My wayandotte hen had been closing her eyes slit and her comb has lost its color, she is always tired, in active and weighs less than a pound. I separated her from the rest and she's been eating and drinking but no improvement . Why?

Worms probably. When have you wormed her last?

No I have not, I don't know how

ive never wormed her, nor have I any of my chickens,I prefer to keep them hormone free, more natural

Yes, well, chickens live on their own poop. Assuming you clean out the cage once a week, they're still living and walking on their own poop. That breeds parasites.

Worm them!

Garlic water works(1:10 juice to water ratio), I've known people to use beer at about the same. It doesn't have to be non-organic to be effective.

Put wood ashes or lime on your coop floor to keep down parasites. Make sure that your floor stays dry. The chickens will appreciate the dust bath.

OK, I can respect that. Sounds Like you better get busy with a natural wormer---if its worms and for sure sounds so to me----you do not have much time. Good Luck
