I have five roosters at this time. Three will be eliminated, one will be isolated, and my favorite rooster will do all of the work on the hens. How long should I wait before I put the eggs(from him) into the incubator, to make sure they be from him only? Also, if a egg is frozen and has a very slight crack but the film inside is not broken, can this egg be eaten?

:welcome Hens can retain sperm with high fertility after a week, moderate fertility up to two weeks and some fertility to three weeks and even longer. Generally after three weeks chicks will be sired by the desired rooster. Yes, cracked/frozen eggs can be eaten, but should not be held too long.
