As I said...I don't use peroxide & other than specifically to "boil out" dirt or infection I rarely use it on myself or my kids either. That's why I suggested the diluted alcohol solution for the 1st rinse or 2 as it kills germs & bacteria without overly damaging healthy tissue.It boils the healthy tissue away... No 'good' doctor would suggest peroxide for long term care of a major wound.
At this point, I'd say the discussion should end here since this is turning into a fight & has no purpose on the forum. People use different things for different reasons & YES, there are still doctors who advise an initial rinse with peroxide. So no one is WRONG here, it's merely a difference in practice & procedure.
