Hen got kicked

I let my girls out for their recess this afternoon. My 7 yr old son was swinging on his swing in the yard and they were sort of near him. One looked right at him, tried to hurry up to go join the others on the other side of the swing but ended up getting kicked hard.
She looks like she is in stunned or something. After she collected herself she just sort of went about her business. My son feels awful. How could she be so dumb? I'm guessing she will be okay....

Sometimes they don't think past the very moment something is going on. The hen will probably be just fine and you can rest assured she'll most likly not get so close again!
