Thanks! I have her in a dog crate so she can go in the coop with them I would just be worried that the other chickens would perch on the cage and poop on her. If she doesn’t get better soon then I will definitely put her in a sling.

Put a tarp, a garbage bag, or feed bag on top of the crate, and weigh it down.

So if she broke it or fractured it or badly sprained it how would I be able to tell?

You could get an xray, but if she is able to stand and walk on it, it is probably just a sprain. Hopefully, it will heal in a week or two, but there might be a chance that it could be Mareks. Can you give her some vitamin B complex crushed or grated onto her food daily? Dosage is 1/4 tablet a day. Is she eating better? Can you check her crop early in the mornings before she has eaten, to make sure that her crop has emptied?

Still no improvements that much. She dose flap her wings a little when we let her out of the cage but she still has a limp.

she stopped eating and drinking. its been like a week of me having to force water and food.

Oh no, do you think that she has Mareks disease, or that she has internal injuries from getting trampled? Are you using any vitamins? Would you be interested in learning to tube feed? Can she walk? I had hoped that she was getting better.

so she is unable to even stand up now and has no balance. she now weighs just barely 3Lbs. im giving her a water mix right now. its called Durvet vitamins and electrolytes for Poultry. i just gave her nutri-drench to see if that helps. i moved this to a new thread if you want better updates: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/hen-in-critical-condition-please-help.1292671/
