Hen has been sitting on the rest for 8 hours?

Yes, she does have feathers on her breast, and I live in Northern Wi. I just hayed the nests again today, if that helps?

Ive also reconized everyday she spends more time on the nest, like yesterday she took 3 hours.

I took her egg in the house, Because lately I have been getting a few tiny blood spots in eggs, so I cracked hers and there were no blood spots and its fertile. I feel bad because if she is broody I took her egg, But im not worried because I get 7-9 eggs a day so I could give her a few.....

sorry I shouldent get my hopes up yet!!!!

if she turns out to be broody then you should break her, i hatched some OEGBs under a hen this winter and it was a big mistake, frozen water, cold chicks, and a hard working hen, 4 of the 7 chicks have died know. chicks should be hatched in the spring up here were they can enjoy the sunshine so i wont be hatching anymore winter chicks.

Well, with all that said, I'd say she is giving broody a chance. Let her go and see what happens! Good luck, wish I had a broody hen!

Edit: Like they said above, if you are in cold country, you may have problems. See how she does, if she hatches them you may have to pull them into a brooder for them to survive in the cold. Get ready for that anyway, as all broodies are not good moms!

I might not break her, Or I might. Ive never had a broody before! How many eggs should I give her? and will I possibly get more broodys in the spring? every time I go out side shes sleeping in the nest.

if she is broody know she will go broody again in the spring, so wait. if you chose the hard way give her about a dozen.

or I might break her. Idk First I wanna see if shes really broody. Because if I have a better chance in spring, im going to break her then because Its safer for the chicks and more enjoyable, Do mallards go broody in spring because my mallards laying now.
