There is no treatment for respiratory disease caused by fungus. Aspergillosis is the common disease caused by moldy conditions, and the treatment is to remove the exposure to mold. Usually it causes silent gasping, so since you have seen sneezing and wheezing, it may be something else, or there may be something additional. Respiratory diseases can cause similar symptoms, and testing is the best way to identify the disease. Bubbles in the eye, or a swollen eyelid may be MG.

A swollen lower belly can be a sign of ascites or water belly, which can cause gasping and labored breathing. Many times we don’t know what problems out chickens have until we can get a necropsy after death. In the meantime, getting some fluids into her, and giving suppostive care is helpful.
