Hen has trouble eating properly/pecks 1/4" or so to side of food?

Hi all

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about too much but I've noticed with one of my hens that if I put a grape on the floor in front of her, she pecks to the side of it and can't get the grape and I'm sure I read something in one of the other topics about this but can't remember where I saw it. She's ok with eating yoghurt out of a big bowl or her pellets out of the feeder. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I read it or do they know if it is anything to worry about?

Can't tell you much, but I have a rooster that is blind in one eye and that is how he eats. He can't judge where things are on the ground.

thanks for your reply ajr. I did wonder whether she was blind in one eye but she flinches when i put my hand near her eye so wasn't sure if it was that. She seems to be getting enough to eat so as long as its nothing more serious, I won't worry too much.
