Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

This morning when I let her out of her cage she refused to eat anything I offered her and instead went and drank a LOT of water again.

It's very hard to give you absolutes since no one can see what is actually going on inside her. Reproductive problems and fluid in the abdomen put a lot of pressure on the internal organs. Build up of matter can cause pressure or partial or complete blockages depending on where they are. Since she is not passing solids, just liquid, that does suggest that she's having difficulty passing things through her digestive tract. They will drink a lot sometimes, trying to get things moving. I had one once also eat an enormous amount of grit, that is what her brain told her to do to get things moving. They will often refuse to eat when they are not feeling well. Egg bound birds typically will not pass any droppings, the egg blocks the passage, so it does not sound like egg binding. Birds with swollen abdomens also have more trouble expelling droppings, so they tend to have dirty feathers around the vent. You do need to make sure that she doesn't get flystrike on top of her other issues, due to the dirty rear end. My experience with reproductive problems and other things that cause bloated abdomens is that they do not tend to get better. They may have some good days, but it will be a slow deterioration. No one can predict how long. If vet care is an option they may be able to run some tests and give you a more complete picture, but I know that is not always an option. For mine, I leave them with the flock until they are no longer obviously feeling well, not eating/drinking, isolating themselves, and in some cases attacked by the flock. Then I don't let them suffer. I'm very sorry. :hugs

She's barely eating. Won't eat pellets, will eat a little bit of fruit/bread but not finish it

I'm sorry she's not improving.
You mentioned that you thought she had fluid in the abdomen? Can you take her to a vet for draining? Some people do it themselves - sometimes it brings some relief, but it is not a cure. Draining can be risky, the stress can put a hen over the edge or if too much is drained at once, they can go into cardiac arrest. Infection from the needle stick(s) is always a concern too.

It can be so frustrating and upsetting to see a hen not doing well. I think most of us have had hens with reproductive problems, I know I've had several, each "case" is a little different. Sometimes I've been able to baby them along with supportive care and they have bounced back while others, they continued to decline so I put them out of their misery.
If you happen to lose your girl, performing a necropsy would give you some answers, you can do one yourself (post photos and we will help you with what you see) or you can refrigerate and send the body to your state lab for an official report.

I live in Alaska so a decent vet is hard to come by. I couldn't handle doing my own necropsy, my chickens are my pets and I couldn't stomach it. I've been told it could also be a crop issue, which is what I'm hoping for as it seems easier to handle than a reproductive issue.
