The only farm supply place around here only carries neo-chlor. I do have a packet here in case I ever needed it- it does have withdrawal time. Here’s a pic of the pack

That should work fine. Follow the mixing directions on the package. Make a new batch daily. Use pure water only with Tetracyclines, so Distilled water, RO water or very soft water. Hard water redenders it useless. I would use this for 7 to 10 days. If after 5 or 6 days and there is no improvement, you will need to stop and try another avenue to treat them.

Good luck and do keep us posted! :)

Can someone check my math for dosing plz? My waterer is smaller(I’m not sure how much it holds but the chickens drink approx 1/2 of it during the day). So I figured out I should do 2.5 grams of antibiotics to 24 cups of water. Does that seem right?

If I did my math correctly, the lower dose is 0.44 grams per liter and the higher dose is 0.88 grams per liter, or 1.68 grams per gallon and 3.36 grams per gallon.

Do you have a gram scale? I ask because one teaspoon of powder can weigh 2.5 to 3.3 grams depending on the density. If you don't have a scale, empty the bag one tablespoon at a time then tell me how many tablespoons there are.

Thanks Kathy. Yes I do have a digital scale I can use. Should I use the lower, higher or an in between dose? I’m started to hear more sneezes since this morning
