Hello everybody,
I had to cull one of my favorite hens a couple days ago because she was so sick and I couldn't stand to see her suffering anymore. I believe she had coccidiosis, I bought the stuff to help treat her but she was no longer eating or drinking and she didn't improve and could no longer walk or stand up. So I put her down unfortunately. Yes, as soon as I saw symptoms of sickness I isolated her from the flock but I think her condition was just too far along. I am wondering what is the best way to prevent coccidiosis in the rest of the flock?
