Hen hunched over and looking sick! Please help!

Mine is moving a bit better than yesterday, and interested in eating, but my other birds were definitely ganging up on her, so we separated her out. On the way now to get some electrolytes. She has signs of yolk inside of her. ..yolk-like poop, fluffed feathers, closing her eyes while standing, waddle-walk. I don't know if she'll make it, but I suppose it's possible. I appreciate you asking, and all the information that has been shared here. It's been very helpful.

Sounds like a similar case as the first hen. When they get bullied away from food and water, they become dehydrated and starved. Egg laying issues are always common in bullied hens.

I would keep her inside and warm for the night. Get lots of water and food into her. Then you will need to make some changes in your coop. Either remove bullies or at least separate them out for a while, or use pinless peepers on the bullies. Definitely add more food and watering stations so the lower ranking birds can get sustenance.

I don't want to be someone who hijacks a thread but this thread is exactly what is happening here. I decided to bring my girl in again. She is still not herself and not eating much. After seeing the post about weighing her I did. She is 4.8 lbs which is lower than I expected although it is just my baseline. I made her an egg which she is slowly picking. I am going to give her some nutri-drench in a bit and watch her today. I am so grateful for the experts on this site. Thank you.

Glad you were able to bring her inside and weigh her. Getting the baseline weight of a bird is often overlooked and having it can tell you if they are improving or heading South. I have found it helpful to weigh them in the morning before they eat as having any food in the crop can give false high weights.

Looks pretty normal, but maybe a little too dry. Can you post a picture of her?

Her comb is not as pale since bringing her in from 16 degrees. It's always a bit droopy due to an injury but not this droopy. She's sitting quietly. No drinking yet.
