TheFarmMomma: yours is a hybrid sex-link prodution type egg layer that is able to be sexed for gender at the time of hatch. In other words the males are one color the females are another. The pullet you posted the pic. of is a Gold sex-link and are also called red sex-links, Red Stars,Golden Comets, ISA Browns, and brown sex-links, this all depends on where and who they came from.

Look at the Breeds, Genetics, and Showing sec. on the BYC under tadkerson's sticky thread on sex-links you'll find some very informative info over there.
