Hen in unheated woodpile

Can I move a sitting hen, she has been sitting on eggs for 7 days but the temperature will go down to -11c in a few days. She picked her own spot and we couldn't find her until today. It is in a covered woodpile and protected by rain and wind.

If she's dry and out of the wind she ought to be fine.

I'm not a sitting hen expert, but it seems to me more likely that she'd abandon the nest after being moved than that she'd lose the eggs to a cold snap in the situation you're describing.

I've had a broody incubate in colder temps.
A predator getting her is another concern.
