Hello. I walked in later today to one of my hens on the ground, eyes closed, and respirations slow. She doesnt seem to be in any pain but the back of her head has feathers torn off and is bloody. I am not sure what has happened to her and I think it may be some type of brain injury. I would like to know anyones thoughts on what could have happened so I can prevent this.
She is still alive after a few hours.
