I am so sorry for you. I don't know how you personally deal with this particular thing, but if you are not bothered by it you should do a necropsy so you can know for sure what she died from.

Definitely. PAchicken helped me a lot. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with mine! I thought she had been egg bound ( she's been like this since a pullet), then ascites and then I figured out she has internal laying. Haven't done surgery yet, but will as soon as I collect the rest of the supplies I need!
