I am raising my first hens this year and have so many questions, bit I'll start with the most important.
Yesterday my Welsummer hen started sneezing. By evening I could see some mucus.
I use vanodine as an aerial dysinfectant, so I added some to their water yesterday. I try not to do this often, so it has been awhile since it was added to their drinking water.
She is still sneezing today, but I don't see any mucus and she doesn't seem to be sneezing as often. She is still foraging from one end of the yard to the other, and I cannot see any other symptoms other than the aforementioned ones.
I am leaving for the holiday next week and I don't want her to get sick when someone else is checking on her. What else would you do?
Thanks!
