Here in the US where the Jersey Giant was created, they aren't meat birds that are short-lived, but rather a heritage dual purpose breed, so her breed will have no bearing on what's going on with her.

I had them confused with the other Giant Birds..They are meat Birds...No, Jersey Giants are not sold at Rochester..They are Duel purpose..
