Well, I got rid of one egg eater last week. Then this morning I found another slimy wet spot minus a yolk and without shell. Instead, I found this thing with the mess. Anyone know what it is, or isn't?

Looks like what I find when I do a necropsy on an internal layer. It's egg material/solidified infection/ whatever. You and the hen are lucky it came out instead of backing up into the oviduct and stopping up the works.

This is what I pull out of the oviducts and abdomens of hens who have the internal laying ailment--see?
This came from one poor hen.

I don't know how you do that.....but it is very interesting and for a purpose I know.
