Hen lame after scaly mite

My hen has gone lame after a I neglected to notice she had a case of scaly mite. I feel quite terrible that I missed this...however, I have been applying petroleum jelly on both her feet to kill what mites might remain and thorough cleaned the coop. Is there any thing else I can do to help her? Is it possible that she will recover from the lameness? Thank you for any advice you may have.

A photo showing the extent of her SLM damage would help us assess how bad it is and if the scales might be infected with bacteria which might indicate the need for an antibiotic.
