Hen layed a shelless egg

You can feed either all flock or non medicated chick feed with oyster shell on the side. I personally prefer the chick feed for its higher protein. (and it's a bit cheaper than all flock in my area $18 vs $21)
In my area most chick feed is more expensive pretty much vise versa to yours

My second Flock of seven Barred Rocks were also friendly, I bought 4 more a couple of months ago and some Rhode Island Reds.
All Barred Rock pullets are friendly, RIR not friendly, don't want to be touched.
My ISA Browns are friendly, but I don't know about their longevity, they are sex-links.
I haven't had any other breeds/types of chickens. GC
Good to know thanks!

Mine do this every now and then it is normal mine are 1 and do it sometimes they get there food and greens we give ours the Leyena crumble from Purina and a bunch of fresh greens and seedless watermelon they love it

I believe that layer pellets have calcium in it so the hens have all the nutrition they need to lay good solid eggs. Chick feed does not. You can mix layer pellets with your chick feed to make the move smoother to the new diet. Also I wouldn't worry about those who aren't laying because they will be.
