Hen Losing Weight

It's weird because she's not as lethargic as my first sick one was, but there is something just not right about her.

Maybe if you hadn't of noticed her she would be as rough as the first. I'm crossing my fingers for her

and I hope no other ones start.

I'm assuming the 25 is the number of mg of praziquantel in the pill, so it works out like this 4.2 ÷ 2.2 = 1.90909090909kg x 10mg of praziquantel per kg = 19.0909090909 mg needed for your hen. 3/4 of a 25mg pill is 18.75mg, so that is slightly less than the recommended amount. Definitely not too much.

Kathy...do you know the withdraw period on eggs for droncit??

@ think two weeks is the norm, but I also remember that @tridentk9
found a link that listed specific womers and residual amounts in eggs.

Oohhh thanks Kathy. Dawg said the norm is 2weeks, but I will have to take a look at those articles.

Yay!! I got my baytril!! After 5 days of treating for coccidiosis and worming her, she still isn't herself. Not eating and drinking.

I do not, but I think @tridentk9
might be able to find that info.
