Hi there! We have a 11-12 month old Olive Egger (Fern) who began losing feathers around her neck and head a few weeks ago and then her comb and face began looking dry and a bit crusty. The skin on the base of her neck where feathers are growing back looks yellowed, but this might be normal. It's a bit difficult to explain but she looks old and greyed a bit too with some of the new feather growth looking white. Main concern is the drooping, crusty comb. We added electrolytes and probiotics into their water this week and will continue to do that in case it helps. The rest of the flock seems okay.

She is otherwise up and about and eating/pooping normally. She is laying less - she is normally a 1 egg a day girl with one or two days off here and there - may be due to short/darker days but her laying stopped when issues started. She went through about of bumble foot this past summer, we treated her non surgically removing the plug and she responded well and hasn't had issues since. Could this be an early molt? An after effect of healing from bumble foot? Bumble foot issue still there? Fowl pox? We're at a bit of a loss, has anyone else seen this? I really appreciate any recommendations or insight. We have access to a vet that sees chickens, but they aren't poultry vet so insight is sometimes limited, but she can be seen there if necessary.
