Hen Not Acting Normal

Lol ok with the "bark" when you tried to get eggs I'm betting she is broody. Now if want chicks that would be great. Haha but not on the work bench I guess.
Broody chickens are weird, I've only had two but it was neat. Missing eggs, or the bird won't move... Hissing, puffing up and dancing like a turkey. Weird. :D
Check out the broody threads, and keep watching her, hope that's what it is.

I will actually she decided to come up stairs into the kitchen to sit with me. Her feelings seemed hurt when I showed her the door and best to stay on the porch. To accommodate I am sitting at the table a few feet from where she is. I snapped a couple pics of her weird hairdo I'm not sure you can tell but the feathers at the back of her head/neck seem to be growing? Creating this bedhead look. I looked thru her poop this morning to see if there was any worms and if anything her poop is the healthiest looking of the bunch. I hope she is broody I just didn't think an ISA battery hen could get broody? hmm. Anyways here are the pics:

See how long the sides are its like its growing?

Notice Her lower beak is now an under bite with a hook at the end

Guess Ill have to start gelling it back for her every morning?

Oh I wanted to add that she does lay a LARGE egg double yolker most of the time. I am attempting to incubate 2 of them to see how they make out. Day 6 and candled both eggs are developing however I cannot see 2 embryos in the egg yet.

Her hair doo doesn't seem to odd to me, but I didn't see her before....could be fall feathers they grow a different sort of "winter coat" when it gets cold. Not a broody breed usually, but it happens.
I'm not sure about the beak but there are things that can cause beak changes, sadly I can't remember what they are.
A read a few people on here got twins from double yokes, amazing.

One of my doubles blood ringed out so that one is out of the race, One left that seems to be developing so far. I thought that also that maybe thats what it is winter coat. The others havnt gotten theirs yet so thats what makes me wonder about that theory. Well maybe she is just maturing and growing up. She is passed a year now and I notice that all 4 hens arnt so snaggy to the younger chicks (their own daughters to be more precise not that they would know)anymore. One of the daughters actually slept wedged in the middle of two of them on the grown up perch was totally a kodak moment.

400

Here's a kodak moment, the big one is the daughter.... Not biological but they don't know that....
To bad about the egg, I never have luck incubating, would help if a bought one rather than making them. I just leave it to my broodies :)
