Ok, so my hen has been sitting on an egg for 11 days for my easter egger
. The problem is this is my first experience hatching eggs and i am a wreck. I wanna be able to see if the chick is developing but the shell is too dark to candle. Plus, she is sitting on only one egg. Will she give off too much heat to the egg. I dont know what to expect, any advice, thanks.
I would think it is ok to sit on one egg. I wish you were close, I have a hen who is sitting on 24 eggs (shared nest that she decided to take over)....
She can't cover them all, so we'll see how many she can hatch.
